When it comes to painting, there are three colors that every artist should keep at close hand: Red, Yellow, and Blue. And when either or all are used with the right amount of linseed oil, the process of painting is a total joy.

When shopping for new paint, I’m as giddy as a kid in a candy store. And today’s new purchase is the wonderful color named Brilliant Blue. It’s one of several acrylic colors included in my sculpture painting, Christy Turlington (Blue Lady).
